New World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Classic Will Release This June

The latest news for all the fans of the famous Warcraft franchise. Blizzard Entertainment will release a new version of their first expansion for the World of Warcraft game called The Burning Crusade Classic. To access the game, a customer needs to have a Battle.net account and a WoW subscription. No purchases are required. The date of the release over the world is June 1, 2021. 

After the huge success of WoW Classic, which is a newly remastered version of the first patches of World of Warcraft, there were a lot of talks and rumors about the similar The Burning Crusade Classic game. The expectations of million fans were confirmed during the last BlizzCon in February 2021. Although there was no confirmed date of the release till recent time. Soon, Blizzard will provide more details and information related to the new release.

The pre-patch of the expansion will start on May 18. Nevertheless, it doesn’t mean that the WoW Classic will be inaccessible like it was in 2007 when all servers move to the new version of the game. Players can decide if they want to stay on Classic servers, move to the Burning Crusade Classic servers, or clone characters for a small sum of money to play on both versions. If a player decided to stay on the vanilla servers, the content of the game won’t change. It’s a great opportunity that wasn’t available at the time of the release of the original version. 

Burning Crusade was a gigantic add-on that significantly expanded the universe of Warcraft and changed the course of the whole MMORPG industry at all!
