The New Guardians of the Galaxy Game Will Require 150GB

Guardians of the Galaxy comes out at the end of this October, and the hype of story and launch trailers keeps the excitement of fans exceptionally high. The page of the title on Steam was recently updated and it brought some new notable facts to players. Probably the most interesting one is information about system requirements. According to the vault records, the Guardians are embarking on a journey of truly galactic proportions as the planned action-adventure will be 150GB.

Users on the forums recommend stopping the owners of not that powerful or spacious PCs. Such a value will likely be required for installation only. Indeed, the title will take no bigger place than any other average modern game. Nevertheless, this information is not officially confirmed.

Let’s make a comparison with some similar large games. Microsoft Flight Simulator is a game that displays the whole globe with stellar accuracy to a player. The title takes up 127 GB on PC. Damn Guardians of the Galaxy may even rival Call of Duty: Warzone 175GB of storage. Knowing how big both of these games are on consoles, it's safe to assume that GOTG will also be impressively mainstream on these platforms. Hopefully, your loading times won't be affected too much! Anyway, it is. Players suggest the such a value provides a possibility to probably explore different worlds of the universe.

The upcoming game focuses on Star-Lord and his gang of alien oddities as they try to make a name (and cash) for themselves by forging alliances and bridges with characters like Cosmo Cosmo and Lady Hellbender. Even Adam Warlock will join the fight at some point. It remains to be seen whether he will become friend or foe. According to the developers, the Guardians of the Galaxy will be involved in important adventures much bigger than they could even suggest. According to the developers and shown trailers, the title will have a lot of RPG elements.

The upcoming title will release on October 26. It will be available on both consoles and PC. Players can pre-order the game and receive some special content. The deluxe version of the game includes an artbook, an official soundtrack, and two Star-Lord costumes available early in the game. For the purchase of the game before the release, a reward is put: a set of skins. By pre-ordering, at the very beginning of the game, a player can get one outfit for each of the Guardians and see the heroes in classic comic guises.
