Fortnite Building Feature is Back in Business

Fortnite game fans may feel relieved because of the return of the building feature into the game's main modes.

From March 20 until now, the building feature of the Fortnite new season was unavailable for use in the game. Two-week absence of the trait that differentiated Fortnite from other battle royal games like Apex Legends, for example, astonished game followers.

New modifications were revealed when Epic Games developers represented new features of Chapter 3, Season 2, like the Overshield option. But they removed a Fortnite staple from the game. Instead, developers justified their decision by adding mobility traits: climbing, fast sprint added to movement functionality. They also stated their unwillingness to overwhelm the Fortnite players with additional features to choose from. They tried to keep balance.

However, the Zero Building option got support from some gamers. They stated that players became faster and the scenery more diverse. Epic Games reacted by confirming Zero Building's constant option availability for Solo, Duos, Trios, and Squad battle royale combat.

Admirers of the Building feature were disappointed by its temporary removal from the game's main mode. They really appreciated this game for its distinctive trait of building defense structures from gathered materials. This feature made Fortnite different from other similar battle royal games.

Following current events in Ukraine, Epic Games decided to donate their game proceeds until April 3rd to humanitarian help. Over $100 million were raised till March 29th.
