New Screenshots Of The Upcoming GTA: The Trilogy For Nintendo Switch

Rockstar has released new screenshots showing how GTA Trilogy: The Definitive Edition will look on Nintendo Switch. New screenshots have just appeared on the official website. Prior to this, the studio did not show how the game would look on this platform.

It can be seen from screenshots that the pocket console does not cope with the graphic innovations of the re-release as briskly as more powerful platforms, but it still gives a good picture. Resolution, detail, texture quality, and anti-aliasing were the victims of trade-offs.

Various American retailers have shown the box art of the physical edition of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition on Nintendo Switch. On the box, they noticed an inscription about the mandatory download from the network. It is noteworthy that this is the first release of GTA games on Nintendo Switch in a very long time. Rockstar has long bypassed this platform, presumably because of its technical lag behind competitors, as well as the audience using this console.

Installing the trilogy on modern systems will take up five times more space than the original games combined. With a range of improvements, from improved graphics to the redesigned character and vehicle models, as well as improved lighting, shadows, and resolution updates, the GTA trilogy should look significantly better than before.

Thus, the size of the updated GTA trilogy on the Nintendo console exceeds 25 GB. Presumably, Vice City did not fit on the cartridge, while other parts are present. Probably, Rockstar Games decided not to make a cartridge with a larger capacity and to transfer the game to digital.

According to a recent leak, GTA Trilogy will also boast a host of new advancements. Rumor has it that each game in the collection will have 40 to 50 achievements. In addition, one of them will refer to the famous meme "Here we go again ...".

Despite the popularity of classic GTA games, the remasters can be met negatively. Fans reacted badly to the censorship they had already noticed in the published material. Also, players are questioning the updated graphics, which looks rather strange. Nevertheless, there were not so many materials and on release, everything could turn out to be much better.

In addition to popular consoles and PCs, the games will also be released on smartphones. However, their releases will not be simultaneous - the GTA trilogy for mobile will be released later, approximately early next year.
