Atlus has finally announced the release date for Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden on modern platforms. Luckily, gamers don't have long to wait. Note that at first, these games became available to players on special Sony portable consoles. It was stated that new items will be playable on consoles just after the release of Persona 5 Royal, scheduled for the end of this month.
Note that Persona 4 Golden was released on PC in 2020, and Persona 3 on PSP back in 2009, but only in Japan. Players in the West were only able to play the game in 2011. as you know, the first release of P4G took place in 2012 on the PS Vita, but on the PC the game became available only in 2020. Both games tell video stories about two high school students who can summon magical creatures to defeat evil. These games were once highly acclaimed by players and critics.
So, for now, the company has said that the games featured will be available on modern platforms on January 19th of next year. The news was posted by the company on Twitter shortly after the concert, and the developers posted some fascinating illustrative material. In the images, we can see the main characters from the latest games of the famous series. All three game novelties will be released on Xbox Game Pass.
So, Persona 5 Royal will be released on October 21st on Xbox, PC, PS5, and also on Switch. Designer Emerson Matsuuchi noted that in the game, the heroes would fight to change the world. Gamers who purchase the P5R will receive all add-ons free of charge (mainly for costumes for game characters).
