CS:GO and Steam again break records for the number of simultaneously playing online players

The popularity of the spectacular shooter is simply incredible. The video game continues to beat its records, delighting its loyal fans. The Valve studio did a great job creating a mega-popular shooter.

So, just over a month ago, the game broke its record of concurrent online players, surpassing 1,519,457 users. And all this, even though the game is over ten years old. This time, 1,818,773 online players decided to shoot in a spectacular shooter. This result is fantastic.

The great game CS:GO is the second biggest in Steam history, behind only the hugely popular battle royale shooter PUBG: Battlegrounds, which has 3.2 million simultaneous online users. Note that another surge of players' interest in CS:GO happened after announcing the next generation of the legendary FPS from Valve, Counter-Strike 2. Its release is expected this summer, but testing has already been launched.

Steam is also viral right now. A couple of years ago, the peak of concurrent online gamers was 18,801,944. Over 26 million users played in February 2021; a fantastic record of thirty million people was reached in October. So far, this record has been broken. At the same time, 33,598,520 users played online.
