"Dragon Age: The Veilguard" Brings Back Old Heroes and Adds New Choices

In the upcoming game Dragon Age: The Veilguard, BioWare is bringing back a favorite feature: players can keep their hero from Dragon Age: Inquisition. This means you can decide how your old hero looks and acts in the new game. It’s like meeting an old friend in a new story, where what you did before affects what happens now. This idea isn’t new to the series—it’s something BioWare has done before, linking stories across different games to make the world feel more connected.

Pick Your Team

When you start playing The Veilguard, you also get to choose from six different groups, or factions, to join. Each group, like the Antivan Crows or the Grey Wardens, has its own special story and missions in the game. This choice lets you decide how you want to play and what kind of adventures you want to have. It makes every time you play potentially different from the last.

Familiar Yet New

Even though some players were worried about new changes in how the game looks and feels, BioWare is keeping many of the classic elements that fans love. Famous groups from earlier games are still part of the story, and how you built your hero in the past will matter in this new game. This blend of old and new ideas is meant to make The Veilguard feel both comforting and exciting to players who have followed the series for a long time or are just starting out.
As Dragon Age: The Veilguard gets ready to launch, these features are stirring up excitement. Players are looking forward to diving back into the world of Thedas, shaping their stories through the choices they make and the alliances they form. It’s shaping up to be an adventure that feels both personal and grand, just as fans of Dragon Age have come to expect.
