Final Fantasy 16 Is Under Development and Its Plot Is Finished

Lately, the producer of the upcoming Final Fantasy Naoki Yoshida confirmed that the development of the game has run successfully. The storyline is fully completed as well as voice recording for the English version is in the final stages. However, it’s likely the game won’t feature on Tokyo Game Show as well as no official announcements will be presented shortly.

According to Yoshida, there will be one more trailer showing the main features of the game. However, it will be presented quite close to the official release of the game. The producer wants to provoke the interest of players, but without making them wait. It implies that pre-release will be available at the time of the appearance of the trailer. Nevertheless, at the current state Final Fantasy 16 is not completed enough to be shown.

The fans of the franchise are upset about the lack of information related to the future game. Last year, the sudden trailer of the title was a major event. Nevertheless, nothing more wasn't revealed till today. Players were waiting for E3 and now for the Tokyo Game Show. Unfortunately, there won't be any updates to Final Fantasy. Furthermore, the new trailer may not be shown at the next Tokyo Game Show as well.

Despite such a lack of information about the future game, it seems like we will receive more updates later. First of all, the page for the title on the PlayStation Store was changed. Now, it has a release date stating that the game will be "coming soon". Hence, it may seem that Final Fantasy 16 will be released within the next few years. Secondly, Yoshida is satisfied with the development of the game and doesn't want to provide players with many small pieces of incomprehensible facts. Instead, he would like to present all the main peculiarities of the title when it would be almost finished.

As was reported, the game will be dedicated primarily to gamers who grew up playing titles of the Final Fantasy series. The fans will be provided some new views on good and evil as well as difficulties on the path of growing up. It will be a new unique project considering the weak and strong sides of the previous games as well as adding a lot of novelties.

For today, Final Fantasy 16 was confirmed as a title available on PlayStation 5. However, many players hope it won't be exclusive. Such suggestions are not unreasonable as recently many Final Fantasy titles were ported for PC, Xbox, and other consoles.
