"Hellblade 2" Developers Use AI to Voice Player Characters

There is interesting news for fans of the chic gaming novelty "Hellblade 2". As you know, the process of voice acting can now be simplified. It's about innovative AI technologies. And, it seems, there is no point in hiring actors. But gamers do not approve that their favorite characters are not voiced by real people. Disagreements on this issue have not been heard for a long time. This time, Ninja Theory, an Xbox subsidiary, is in the spotlight as the team is working on the long-awaited new "Senua's Saga Hellblade II".

The players began to discuss the decision of the company to use AI for the voice acting of the characters. The company drew attention to the players' dissatisfaction and decided to clarify the situation. As it turned out, such technologies are used by the studio only as a stub, that is, for the so-called “dummy” content at the very initial stages of game development. And after that, real actors are hired, whose professionalism is indispensable for creating a quality game. So, this novelty is based on the innovative Unreal Engine 5. Fans are looking forward to the adventure game with great anticipation. It will be a really great project.
