But the developer company admits that sales of new items alone will only cover some of the necessary expenses.

So, the game's demo version has become a real hit on Steam. Ironmace is interested in the question of how to monetize the game. The game's creators still do not have answers to many questions, even for themselves. However, the developers shared some details with gamers.

Supporting a novelty online only by selling a video game is impossible. Monetization is necessary. Video game sales alone "will not be able to cover all the necessary costs of operating the servers." The developers ensure that the monetization model will be simple and understandable. And there will be no Pay to Win.

It also became known that the company is experiencing a shortage of employees, even though there are practically no vacant jobs in its head office.

How much the Dark and Darker game will cost has yet to be discovered. But the company said it does not approve of the situation when the players who bought the new product first pay the highest price while others enjoy significant discounts. It is a hint that there will be no vast sales on Steam.

So, the game's beta testing will take place from April 14th to 19th and include a couple of unique additions.
