Overwatch 2 shooter's story mode is still in development

Initially, the single-player mode was supposed to start in the game simultaneously with the multiplayer mode, but everything went differently than planned. The shooter's co-op campaign will be released gradually. As planned, the first set of missions will be released before the end of this year.

Director Aaron Keller told the players exciting details about the shooter, the release of which, along with the multiplayer mode, was scheduled for last year. But unfortunately, Blizzard still needs to manage to complete a large-scale project.

The developer noted the difficult decision to separate the multiplayer mode and the campaign of the Overwatch 2 shooter. However, it took work, turned out to be the right one. The fact is that the development of a single-player game mode was much slower than the team wanted. A company representative stated that the situation was not easy because it is only possible to release some of the game content that was created for the game once the campaign is over.

The story mode of the second part of the popular shooter probably has a lot of exciting things in store for the players. And now, the company will be able not only to focus on the development of game characters but also dive into work on the most important game events.
