Sony is shutting down multiplayer for 3 iconic games: Killzone: Mercenary, etc

The players recently learned some bad news about their favorite and popular games and are really disappointed.

The company developer announced that very soon, on August 12 this year it intends to shut down the servers of 3 games: popular Killzone: Shadow Fall and Mercenary, and RIGS: Mechanized Combat League. Gamers are extremely unhappy that they learned this unpleasant news so late. Thus, not everyone will be able to earn platinum trophies in time.

Also from the same day, Shadow Fall will no longer have a paid expansion and a co-op mode called "Interception".

Recall that Killzone: Mercenary is a famous series of shooters that saw the world back in 2013 on PS Vita.

RIGS is an exciting game about robot battles. The developers added that gamers will still have access to the single-player campaigns of such games as Mercenary and Shadow Fall.

In general, nothing is surprising in the fact that multiplayer support for the old games eventually ends. But the gamers are amazed and unhappy that it happened so soon. And that the developers did not warn them. Too little time left for fans to earn platinum trophies. But they can only be unlocked through an online game.
