The creative director of the shooter Halo Infinite left the team

The sad news for Halo Infinite fans is that creative director Tom French has left the team. Colleagues wished him all the best and expressed gratitude for the successful work.

Note that he is not the first to leave 343 Industries. But Tom devoted eleven years of creative and productive work to the project. Before him, several other developers decided to part with the studio, including Bonnie Ross, co-founder of the studio. She left the team two weeks after the roadmap was posted.

French announced his departure to fans of the shooter on his Twitter page. He said that it was a great honor for him to work on the Halo series for more than eleven long years, but from now, he wants to devote himself to working on other projects. Why exactly Tom made such a decision is still unknown. Perhaps some details will appear later.

Recall that the former creative director became part of the team in 2011, taking the post of senior mission designer. He soon became the lead content developer for Halo 5, and in 2016 he took over as creative director, where he has served for more than a decade. We will probably hear more about Tom in his new successful projects.
