New classes

Diablo 3 (PC) brings with it a selection of new classes filling familiar roles and niches you didn't even think needed filling. The Barbarian is a mighty warrior cleaving through enemies with axes and tossing them around with hammer with little effort. The Monk likes getting up close and personal for lightning-quick, powerful punches and kicks. If you enjoy some good, old-fashioned magic, roll Wizard to blast foes with fireballs and conjure beams capable of killing entire swarms. If some darker, bloodier magic is your speed then the Witch Doctor's shamanistic summons and curses may interest you. Or you could pick the Demon Hunter to emphasise the power of traps and crossbows. Each class has its own resources and mechanics.Which one will be your main?

Action-packed gameplay

In Diablo you have an immediate access to two skills, basic and more powerful, but you also get four more easily accessible via hotkeys. Create your perfect chain of abilities to maximise the slaughter. Discover devastating combos and synergies and have Diablo and Baal's hordes kneel before your might.

Engaging progression

As you level up you gain new powerful abilities facilitating the iconic excessive violence. In addition to the linear acquisition of skills you get access to runes modifying your abilities in new and exciting ways, changing the way you prepare yourself for combat. Add new a sudden area of effect to an otherwise single-target spell, surprise your foes with a sudden stun effect they had no reason to expect. Mix and match runes to your favourite strikes, or experiment and discover new exciting combos fitting your style much better. Every Wizard may have the same skills, but the true difference lies in how they specialise!
